Preschool students spent approximately 6 weeks studying various Missouri habitats. One group studied caves, another ponds, and the final group studied forests.
After students were immersed in children’s literature – including both fiction and non-fiction, students were able to choose an animal that they found most interesting! Next, students developed questions they had about their animals and then listened to books and articles to find their answers!

We concluded our inquiry projects my creating diaramas, clay sculptures, and presenting the information to our families.
